The Blood Storage Centre at N R Agarwal Rotary Hospital, Sarigam, established under Rotary Club of Sarigam’s Global Grant Project (GG2689618) in collaboration with Valsad Blood Donation Centre, is now operational. On 10th October 2026, AKS PP Noopur Desai, CSR & Social Transformation Director of Apar Industries, visited the centre in the presence of Shri Ramanbhai Patkar, Hon’ble Member of Rotary Club of Sarigam. The first blood bag was distributed in the presence of Rtn. Reshma Rao, President of Rotary Club of Sarigam. During the same event, two new dialysis machines sponsored by AKS PP Noopur Desai were inaugurated, further strengthening the hospital’s dialysis services. As the first and only Blood Storage Centre in Umargam Taluka, this facility will improve access to blood during medical emergencies and reduce the need for patients to travel to Vapi or Valsad, reflecting Rotary Club of Sarigam’s commitment to serving humanity.
